The 2020 season was auspicious for the Silverstone based BWT sponsored Racing Point team with an upturn in fortunes.
Whilst early focus in 2020 centred on the car being a pink clone of the successful Mercedes W10 of the previous year the drivers, Lance Stroll and Sergio Perez chose to do their talking on the track.
Picking up steady points throughout the season and also taking a haul of podiums with two third places for Lance in France and Russia and a second and a win for Sergio in Italy and Russia the team eventually ended up fourth in the World Constructors Championship, being narrowly pipped by McLaren in the last race.
